Lately:

I keep buying cheap and cheerful bundles of flowers for our house. These guys are in my Blue Mountain Pottery vase- a now defunct company that made things in my home town.

Got my fave shoes repaired so they can last another summer beating.  This is my 3rd pair I've had fixed at Sole Survivor. Her business is awesome and her story is inspiring.

Ontario strawberry season. Yessssssssssss.

New use for leather bracelets made by Mike: sexy curtains ties.

And on the subject of hot leather, we got a couple new leather colours in the Falconwright shop. Gotta love that purple.

  1. How cool! I should go pay a visit to Sole Survivor. My dad is a cobbler!

  2. Miss Crowland- Having someone in your fam who could give you free shoe repairs would be AWESOME! I would never buy new shoes again.

  3. Danielle! It's Claire...remember me? I found you through Jason H, whose home was featured on H&H, and who turns out to be separated by only half a degree to my guy, Jesse. Anyway, circles, circles! Glad to have found your blog, and your shop, which I was really excited about when you told me your future plans, back in the days of Lumi. I am a fan!

  4. I still manage to buy shoes! My dad has slowed down considerably over the years, though.
